The history of The Ashbee Hotel goes way back in 1907. The structure where Ashbee Hotel is hosted was previously named Villa San Giorgio and it was a project by an English Architect names Charles Robert Ashbee. The project was entrusted by Colonel Shaw-Hellier when he bought a piece of land in Taormina just behind the church of St. Pancrazio. Architect Ashbee was invited by Colonel Hellier and asked him to build a house on that piece of land.
Now, The Ashbee was turned into a hotel and offers guests with exclusive services and a warm welcome. It is the best place to disconnect in the busy life and just enjoy the luxurious service their staff provides. Checking in the Ashbee will bring you back in time where you will be served by butlers ensuring all your needs are attended to.
The location is secluded with rich historical background that will make you feel like you were living in a different era. Their Concierge are always ready to give you a hand. Whether you need to book in one of the finest restaurants or ask for local activities that you can do while you are on your vacation, they would be happy to assist you.
