Gloria Hotels & Resorts was established in 1965. It was right off the bat, placed in the Fortune 500 list of Turkey’s announcement of the largest companies. It is under the Ozaltin Holding, which is quite a prominent company in the business as well. However, it wasn’t until 1997 that the first ring of Gloria Hotels & Resorts fully immersed into service. This time, the hotel is more equipped to compete with other hotels in the market. They expanded the Gloria Verde Resort in 2001 and opened one of their best properties, Gloria Serenity Resort in 2007.

The hotel chain also added a golf club, which started to serve guests in 1997 with its first 18-hole course. The second stage was complete in 2001, adding 9 more holes. The third one had 18 holes just like the first one and was opened in 2005. The golf course feature gave the brand value a big boost. The hotel now has three sub-brands namely the Gloria Golf Resort, Gloria Verde Resort, and Gloria Serenity Resort. The Gloria Golf Resort holds the record of being the largest golf course in the entire Turkey. With its 45 holes, it was unquestionable how it got several recognitions as well.
