The Verizon Center (MCI Center) is the most popular sports venue in NW, Washington, DC. Established in mid-1990, in May 1997, it opened as MCI Center for almost a decade and named Verizon Center in 2006. It was the home of Mike Tyson's final fight, Cruz versus Johnson UFC Live Fight, Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament, and hosted NBA All-Star game.
